Digital Platform Manager - USA Rugby (Boulder, CO)

USA Rugby is seeking a technologically adept and business development minded person to oversee development and on-going maintenance of all its digital platforms.  The Digital Platform Manager will work specifically with USA Rugby’s website, social media platforms and digital media platforms and libraries.  This position will be responsible for the maintenance of USA Rugby’s web domains and with developing a strategy and plan for creating and maintaining digital platform relationships with all service providers.  This position will also mine and cultivate internal relationships across all USA Rugby departments to provide digital support and proactive solutions to web, digital and social media needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for distributing web content on appropriate USA Rugby digital platforms, including daily maintenance and population of www.usarugby.org
  • Responsible for management of USARUGBY.ORG, USA Rugby’s Facebook page, Twitter and Video distribution channel, including determination of appropriate partners and solutions, on-going content management across all platforms, and on-going infrastructure development, improvements and repair

  • Responsible for maintenance of all domain names and procurement of all needed future domain names

  • Create and execute plan for search engine optimization

  • Provide web support for USA Rugby initiative including web and online video support for events

  • Responsible for uniform naming and storage of USA Rugby digital media files

  • Responsible for creating the vision and objectives of monetization of certain USA Rugby digital assets including match video, Coach & Referee Development resources and other departmental properties

  • Remain current in the latest digital platform advancements and opportunities for USA Rugby

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualification preferred

  • Highly organized and structured

  • Previous business development experience desired

  • Previous supervisory experinece is required

  • Previous experience HTML, Adobe Suite and W3C web standards required

  • Strong experience with Joomla and Wordpress required

  • Rugby experience preferred

  • Ability to work across multiple departments and manage time properly

Other Information: 

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.

  • Relocation expenses will not be provided by USA Rugby.

  • Reports directly to Director of Rugby Operations
