Bowl for the Cure® Program Manager - United States Bowling Congress (Arlington, TX)

We are seeking a Program Manager for Bowl for the Cure®. Primary duties will include day-to-day administration and support of fundraising campaigns and marketing activations.

Bowl for the Cure® is a year-round fundraising and breast cancer awareness initiative. This effort is sponsored by USBC in partnership with Susan G. Komen®, the world's largest grass roots organization of breast cancer survivors and activists.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support program goals (contributions, corporate programs,) and build strategic and tactical plans for achieving these goals
  • Focus on effective communication and solicitation activities to the USBC associations audience
  • Manage branded merchandise program
  • Work closely with the Finance Department to manage the flow of online donations, donations by mail, and corporate giving
  • Daily support and tracking of the Bowl for the Cure® program budget
  • Oversee and implement the annual event activations, including onsite Bowl for the Cure® bowling events and Meet for the Cure® at USBC Convention
  • Complete written performance reports and recaps, detailing campaign analytics in email, social media and direct mail
  • Attend Susan G. Komen® leadership conferences and training meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Health or any related fields is preferred
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of non-profit community organizing experience, preferred
  • Hands on experience with email service providers, social media posting, and website content management
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Excellent understanding of database management, gift processing and donor relations
  • Demonstrated analytical and fundraising skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; comfortable at public speaking engagements and presentations
  • An understanding of legal contracts
  • Experience in fundraising (particularly proposal writing and grants administration) a plus

Partnership Marketing Manager - United States Bowling Congress (Arlington, TX)

The Partnership Marketing Manager is responsible for leading brand program management, campaign execution, and partner activation, implementing brand strategy for both digital and in-venue activation.

This role will be accountable for maintaining a strong business relationship with each partner to ensure strategies are effectively communicated and contracted deliverables are executed. USBC partner relationships help provide brand identity, relevance, and affinity to ensure a future for the sport of bowling.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day brand integration and relationship management efforts for industry partnerships: Professional Women’s Bowling Association Tour (PWBA) and the USBC Industry Partner program, as well as royalty partners and sponsors, including Haggar Clothing, Nationwide Insurance, and SimpliSafe
  • Review contracts to ensure compliance and activation of partner assets by coordinating all contractual obligations including, signage creation and installation, digital activations, direct mail, social, media broadcast content, etc.
  • Work closely with internal teams to oversee project execution, and communicate deliverables and deadlines with partners and key internal stakeholders
  • Oversee onsite logistics for assigned events and broadcast television shows, including the coordination of VIP seating, partner giveaways, and contest winner fulfillment
  • Analyze metrics and make recommendations for optimizing partner performance on a regular basis
  • Build and manage partner activation schedules, while identifying opportunities to increase partner value
  • Plan execution for onsite event signage at USBC Championship Tournaments, Short-Duration events, and PWBA Tour events
  • Maintain current, accurate records of partner deliverables and prepare sponsor activation fulfillment reports and campaign recaps for delivery to senior management and partners
  • Clearly demonstrate return on partner business objectives to ensure maximum partnership retention
  • Provide weekly/monthly delivery reports detailing campaign statuses
  • Work with the Finance team to ensure that sponsor payments are received
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance for the Client Services Coordinator

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Advertising, Communications, Sport Management or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented, with proven project management abilities
  • A minimum of 2 years of partner marketing experience with a focus on client services and marketing activation is required
  • Prior experience managing integrated digital channels including email, social, display advertising and marketing automation
  • Hands-on experience with email and marketing automation platforms (Act-On, Cheetah Mail, ExactTarget, Marketo, Selligent, Responsys, etc.).
  • Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, & Word). MS SharePoint (highly-preferred)
  • Understanding of CRM and database marketing segmentation
  • Content management and website editing experience
  • Experience with preparing campaign recaps and marketing analytics reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to pass USBC Registered Volunteer Program background screen as a condition of employment and on an annual basis as a condition of continued employment to ensure appropriate protection is given to the youth involved in our programs required

Corporate Partnerships Department Overview

U.S. Soccer’s Corporate Partnerships Department is responsible for managing relationships with the organization’s commercial partners.  The Corporate Partnerships Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Corporate Partnerships, Events and Fan Services Departments to plan, execute and manage partner-related operational responsibilities around National Team games and events.

Primary Duties

The Corporate Partnerships Coordinator assists in managing all stages of the relationship between U.S. Soccer and current and potential commercial partners, including sponsors, technical partners and suppliers. This individual will assist in securing and renewing partners, develop and present onboarding materials and manage the day-to-day relationship. The coordinator, who must have an understanding of the industry and key categories, works closely with all other departments to plan, execute and measure programs to help partners maximize their relationship with U.S. Soccer.

Minimum Qualifications

Events and Club Services Coordinator - USA Field Hockey (Colorado Springs, CO)

Summary:

The Events and Clubs Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating a set of events and club services that contribute to the implementation of the organization’s strategic plan. The Events and Clubs Services Coordinator is primarily responsible for the operational delivery of a portfolio of events and services designed to meet member clubs needs and member’s ambitions in our sport. The focus will be to advance USA Field Hockey’s mission in the key strategic areas of serving members and growing the game.

Duties & Responsibilities

General Duties:

  • Provide premium client service to club advocates, NCAA college coaches, venue and sport partners.

  • Work with Communications team to ensure best distribution of club information via our digital media.

  • Ensure programs fit within approved budgets and forecasts for portfolio of events and clubs services

  • Other duties as assigned.

Event Coordination Duties:

  • Coordinate the administrative and logistical components of regional and national events.
  • Provide assistance to the Events and Club Services Manager in support of the relationship with each event’s key stakeholders including venue lead, CVB and Sports Commission partners, housing partner, commercial partners and others.
  • Implement event specific marketing programs to achieve the registrations goals for teams for each event.
  • Support and coordinate each event registration process, online and in person.
  • Attend specific national and regional events and conferences to represent USA Field Hockey and build awareness of upcoming events, programs and services.
  • Coordinate all aspects of ancillary events including Exhibition Games, Clinics, Seminars, Coach Hospitality and others

    • Create a marketing plan with Communications team to promote ancillary events

    • Plan, coordinate, and implement associated event logistics

  • Assist with scheduling of umpire members for larger USA Field Hockey events

Club Services Coordination Duties:

  • Manage and promote USA Field Hockey sanctioned event program

    • Communicate with tournament organizers about sanctioning program

    • Work with Communications team to fulfill sanctioning benefits

    • Attend major sanctioned events as USA Field Hockey staff on an as-needed basis

  • Manage CRM system as it relates to event registrations and sanctioning programs

  • Coordinate relationship with Athlete Recruiting information (AR) provider

    • Act as first point of contact with AR provider

    • Ensure eligible athletes are engaged in AR process

    • Ensure college coaches are engaged in AR process

  • Coordinate USA Field Hockey regional, national, and sanctioned events

    • Coordinate roster process for USA Field Hockey national and sanctioned events

    • Communicate to Club Administrators required timelines, ensure all rosters are complete, provide rosters to third parties, handle specific enquiries

    • Complete and publish rankings following specified events

  • Ensure Clubs portion of website is accurate and up-to-date

    • Work with Communications team on press releases as necessary

    • Minimum Qualifications Required:

      Education:

      ·      Bachelor’s degree is required

       

      Licensure & Certification:

      ·       None

       

      Experience:

      ·      2 years’ experience in customer service, project management or related field

       

      Skills:

      ·      Excellent communicator, responsive to internal and external clients

      ·      Must have excellent customer service skills with the flexibility and tact to work with a variety of staff and clients

      ·      Must be proficient in use of technology to manage Customer Relationship Management systems, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office programs

      ·      Have the ability to concurrently manage several high-priority programs.

      ·      Must have the drive to provide evolving programming to support a growing sport.

      Tools, Equipment, & Conditions:

      ·      This is primarily an office position, although some field work will be required.  Incumbent will be required do to some light lifting of no more than 40lbs. Long periods of sitting may occur.  Field work may consist of standing for long periods of time, crouching, reaching and bending.  Field work may also be in areas of high noise levels. Incumbent will need to be able to successfully operate basic office equipment with ease. Travel and work on weekends is a requirement of this position.
