Commercial Partnerships Manager - Commercial Partnerships (Colorado Springs, CO)


USA Field Hockey is searching for a self-motivated and creative employee to fill the Commercial Partnerships Manager position. This role will commercialize assets of USA Field Hockey, specifically in the areas of events, programs, sponsorship categories, licensing, print and digital media, membership, national teams and other commercial opportunities. This position will work with other staff to ensure that all clients receive benefits they have purchased and enjoy a premium relationship with USA Field Hockey. They will also be responsible for the acquisition of new partners and increasing the value of current partnerships.

 Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Account management
    • Actively connect with USA Field Hockey partners to provide them with the best sponsorship experience possible.
    • Ensure all clients receive purchased benefits in a timely and accurate way
    • Provide regular reports and client servicing to clients to nurture relationships
    • Work with all staff to ensure delivery of benefits.
    • Ensure that USA Field Hockey partners have successful events experience at our national and regional events.
    • Develop membership benefits through USA Field Hockey partners
  • Sponsorship development
    • Sponsorship: develop and sell sponsorship opportunities that increase visibility and support to USA Field Hockey programs through cash and Value in Kind (VIK).
    • Assist the Member Services Director in selling premium partner sponsorship opportunities.
      • Research potential partners
      • Develop sponsorship decks
      • Promote USA Field Hockey to potential partners
    • Licensing: sell licensing rights of USA Field Hockey owned marks and track royalties
    • Supplier: identify needs, develop and sell supplier partnerships that provide cost savings to USA Field Hockey
    • Vending: develop and sell vendor opportunities at USA Field Hockey owned events.
    • Advertising: develop and sell advertising opportunities in USA Field Hockey owned publications
    • Digital: develop and sell digital marketing opportunities in USA Field Hockey properties
    • New business: identify new opportunities to generate revenue on USA Field Hockey assets
  • Reporting
    • Provide regular reports on each commercial area to the CFO
    • Ensure departmental budgets and goals are achieved
    • Monitor the use of USA Field Hockey logos
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications Required:


A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, sports administration, sports management, or similar field of study is required.


Must have 1 to 2 years demonstrated experience managing/commercializing sports assets.

Knowledge of sports media and marketplace.

Field hockey experience is preferred, but not required

Must have experience in coordination of programs with colleagues and working as a team


Customer service, time management and attention to detail are essential to the position

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Outlook

Have the ability to concurrently manage several high-priority programs.

Must have excellent sales and negotiation skills with the flexibility, ability, and tact to work with a variety of clients and people (including volunteers) to accomplish tasks.

Tools, Equipment, & Conditions:

This is primarily an office position, although some field work will be required.  Incumbent will be required do to some light lifting of no more than 10lbs. Long periods of sitting may occur.  Field work may consist of standing for long periods of time, crouching, reaching and bending.  Field work may also be in areas of high noise levels. Incumbent will need to be able to successfully operate basic office equipment with ease. Travel and work on weekends is a requirement of this position.

Senior Manager, Brand Integration - United States Bowling Congress (Arlington, TX)

We are seeking a Senior Brand Integration Manager to join our team.   This position will be responsible for leading marketing strategy and tactical execution of key USBC brand campaigns and programs. This position requires strong strategic skills with an emphasis on the ability to formulate ideas for the strategic direction of marketing, promotion, and operational strategies.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead execution for USBC brand programs including championship tournaments, VIP programs, fan and member engagement programs, and branded apparel and merchandise
  • Development, planning and execution of marketing campaigns that grow participation and drive revenue for USBC Championship Tournaments (Open Championships, Women’s Championships)
  • Oversee marketing for tournament affinity programs (VIP programs, tournament captain/coordinator incentives, and experiential packages)
  • Deliver innovative marketing campaigns and demand generation tactics, leveraging both digital (display ad, email, mobile, social, marketing automation) and traditional (direct mail, print, in-venue signage, outbound calls) marketing channels
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators for marketing initiatives, providing update weekly and monthly reports, and adjusting or course corrections as needed
  • Assist in leading cross-functional marketing initiatives across marketing department verticals as well as cross-functional teams within the organization
  • Manage projects with the creative team including production of marketing materials, including website content, display ads, print collateral, and videos
  • Operational oversight of channel integration, content production, and the capturing and evaluation of analytics and campaign results.
  • Summarize analytical data into actionable sales and marketing intelligence
  • Manage and analyze marketing data for both regular growth reporting, as well as deep, actionable customer insights via business intelligence software and tools
  • Work closely with internal teams, providing marketing solutions and strategic guidance
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Hands-on experience with email and marketing automation platforms (Act-On, Cheetah Mail, ExactTarget, Marketo, Selligent, Responsys, etc.)
  • Prior experience with Business Intelligence tools (Sisense, Tableau, Rapid Insight, etc.) is a huge plus
  • Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, & Word). MS SharePoint (highly-preferred)
  • Understanding of CRM segmentation, database marketing, and consumer insights
  • Content management and website editing experience
  • Experience with preparing campaign recaps and marketing analytics reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to pass USBC Registered Volunteer Program background screen as a condition of employment and on an annual basis as a condition of continued employment to ensure appropriate protection is given to the youth involved in our programs required

Under the direction of the Managing Director of Customer Care & Horse Services, the position of Customer Care Representative requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This position is responsible for building trusting customer relationships, identifying customer needs, making appropriate recommendations, providing accurate information, and implementing effective solutions.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

The ability to strictly adhere to a work schedule and be consistently available for work is a critical element of this position. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have knowledge of standard office PC programs and be Internet-savvy.  Spanish skills are helpful.
