Senior Manager, Brand Integration - United States Bowling Congress (Arlington, TX)

We are seeking a Senior Brand Integration Manager to join our team.   This position will be responsible for leading marketing strategy and tactical execution of key USBC brand campaigns and programs. This position requires strong strategic skills with an emphasis on the ability to formulate ideas for the strategic direction of marketing, promotion, and operational strategies.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead execution for USBC brand programs including championship tournaments, VIP programs, fan and member engagement programs, and branded apparel and merchandise
  • Development, planning and execution of marketing campaigns that grow participation and drive revenue for USBC Championship Tournaments (Open Championships, Women’s Championships)
  • Oversee marketing for tournament affinity programs (VIP programs, tournament captain/coordinator incentives, and experiential packages)
  • Deliver innovative marketing campaigns and demand generation tactics, leveraging both digital (display ad, email, mobile, social, marketing automation) and traditional (direct mail, print, in-venue signage, outbound calls) marketing channels
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators for marketing initiatives, providing update weekly and monthly reports, and adjusting or course corrections as needed
  • Assist in leading cross-functional marketing initiatives across marketing department verticals as well as cross-functional teams within the organization
  • Manage projects with the creative team including production of marketing materials, including website content, display ads, print collateral, and videos
  • Operational oversight of channel integration, content production, and the capturing and evaluation of analytics and campaign results.
  • Summarize analytical data into actionable sales and marketing intelligence
  • Manage and analyze marketing data for both regular growth reporting, as well as deep, actionable customer insights via business intelligence software and tools
  • Work closely with internal teams, providing marketing solutions and strategic guidance
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Advertising, Communications, Sport Management or a related field
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of marketing experience with a focus on managing integrated digital channels including email, social, display advertising and marketing automation
  • Hands-on experience with email and marketing automation platforms (Act-On, Cheetah Mail, ExactTarget, Marketo, Selligent, Responsys, etc.)
  • Prior experience with Business Intelligence tools (Sisense, Tableau, Rapid Insight, etc.) is a huge plus
  • Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, & Word). MS SharePoint (highly-preferred)
  • Understanding of CRM segmentation, database marketing, and consumer insights
  • Content management and website editing experience
  • Experience with preparing campaign recaps and marketing analytics reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to pass USBC Registered Volunteer Program background screen as a condition of employment and on an annual basis as a condition of continued employment to ensure appropriate protection is given to the youth involved in our programs required

Bowl for the Cure® Program Manager - United States Bowling Congress (Arlington, TX)

We are seeking a Program Manager for Bowl for the Cure®. Primary duties will include day-to-day administration and support of fundraising campaigns and marketing activations.

Bowl for the Cure® is a year-round fundraising and breast cancer awareness initiative. This effort is sponsored by USBC in partnership with Susan G. Komen®, the world's largest grass roots organization of breast cancer survivors and activists.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support program goals (contributions, corporate programs,) and build strategic and tactical plans for achieving these goals
  • Focus on effective communication and solicitation activities to the USBC associations audience
  • Manage branded merchandise program
  • Work closely with the Finance Department to manage the flow of online donations, donations by mail, and corporate giving
  • Daily support and tracking of the Bowl for the Cure® program budget
  • Oversee and implement the annual event activations, including onsite Bowl for the Cure® bowling events and Meet for the Cure® at USBC Convention
  • Complete written performance reports and recaps, detailing campaign analytics in email, social media and direct mail
  • Attend Susan G. Komen® leadership conferences and training meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Health or any related fields is preferred
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of non-profit community organizing experience, preferred
  • Hands on experience with email service providers, social media posting, and website content management
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Excellent understanding of database management, gift processing and donor relations
  • Demonstrated analytical and fundraising skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; comfortable at public speaking engagements and presentations
  • An understanding of legal contracts
  • Experience in fundraising (particularly proposal writing and grants administration) a plus

Partnership Marketing Manager - United States Bowling Congress (Arlington, TX)

The Partnership Marketing Manager is responsible for leading brand program management, campaign execution, and partner activation, implementing brand strategy for both digital and in-venue activation.

This role will be accountable for maintaining a strong business relationship with each partner to ensure strategies are effectively communicated and contracted deliverables are executed. USBC partner relationships help provide brand identity, relevance, and affinity to ensure a future for the sport of bowling.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day brand integration and relationship management efforts for industry partnerships: Professional Women’s Bowling Association Tour (PWBA) and the USBC Industry Partner program, as well as royalty partners and sponsors, including Haggar Clothing, Nationwide Insurance, and SimpliSafe
  • Review contracts to ensure compliance and activation of partner assets by coordinating all contractual obligations including, signage creation and installation, digital activations, direct mail, social, media broadcast content, etc.
  • Work closely with internal teams to oversee project execution, and communicate deliverables and deadlines with partners and key internal stakeholders
  • Oversee onsite logistics for assigned events and broadcast television shows, including the coordination of VIP seating, partner giveaways, and contest winner fulfillment
  • Analyze metrics and make recommendations for optimizing partner performance on a regular basis
  • Build and manage partner activation schedules, while identifying opportunities to increase partner value
  • Plan execution for onsite event signage at USBC Championship Tournaments, Short-Duration events, and PWBA Tour events
  • Maintain current, accurate records of partner deliverables and prepare sponsor activation fulfillment reports and campaign recaps for delivery to senior management and partners
  • Clearly demonstrate return on partner business objectives to ensure maximum partnership retention
  • Provide weekly/monthly delivery reports detailing campaign statuses
  • Work with the Finance team to ensure that sponsor payments are received
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance for the Client Services Coordinator

Position Overview

U.S. Soccer oversees a social media community of more than eight million followers across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and more. The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for furthering the development of U.S. Soccer's social media platforms through rich media content, sustaining a constant and interactive presence on all accounts, organizing content calendars and collaborating with the Social Media Manager on long-term strategy.

Primary Duties

  • Develop, manage and post day-to-day content throughout U.S. Soccer’s ecosystem of social media channels, with an emphasis on building the following of Youth National Teams, Development Academy, Coaching Education and Referee Program.
  • Manage U.S. Soccer’s relationship with third-party graphic design company to ensure brand guidelines are met and the Federation remains on the cutting edge of visual media in the entertainment industry.
  • Create attention-grabbing graphics as needed for special projects and viral content.
  • Proactively interact with fans across U.S. Soccer social communities by responding to customer service inquiries, joining in relevant conversations and identifying trends.
  • Write succinct, attention-grabbing social copy that promotes engagement and resonates with U.S. Soccer’s diverse audiences unique to each platform.
  • Promote inclusivity, conversation and engagement on platforms, while also driving traffic to ussoccer.com.
  • Recruit new fans and guide them to become avid supporters of U.S. Soccer.
  • Conceptualize and execute high-impact campaigns around Federation tentpole events.
  • Work with different departments within the organization to further build the organization’s collective social media presence and strategy.
  • Have and maintain an in-depth knowledge of best practices for each platform’s specific products.
  • Build, organize and manage calendars for requested posts and campaigns by various departments throughout the organization.
  • Generate fresh ideas by staying up to date on trends across the industry.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or marketing is preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in the Content Marketing/Social Media industry preferred
  • Background in global soccer and sports with a familiarity with U.S. Soccer’s “voice”
  • Ability to design striking on-brand graphics in timely manner
  • Excellent writing ability
  • Mastery of AP style and soccer terminology.
  • Familiarity with publishing and updating high-traffic websites in Content Management Systems
  • Spanish speaker preferred to better serve Hispanic audiences through Español channels
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere)
