The United States Bowling Congress (USBC) is looking for an energetic, organized, outgoing individual that can manage client communication, program development and contract fulfillment for USBC sponsorship and affinity inventory. This includes signage, media, and promotions on- and off-site. Position will be expected to service partners in a way that leads to additional revenue growth and long-term relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assisting with day-to-day activities relating to servicing and fulfillment of 15 to 20 corporate partner accounts, ensuring 100% delivery of contractual obligations
• Assisting with day-to-day activities relating to merchandise fulfillment at tournament sites
• Help create unique activation programs to increase revenue from existing partners and future ones
• Learn how to implement all web components including banner ads and content
• Assist with designing monthly marketing campaigns for corporate sponsors
• Help create sales plans for merchandise and coordinate advertising and promotions through marketing department
Qualifications
• Excellent interpersonal skills; Must have be the ability to establish effective and cooperative interdepartmental.
• Strong communication skills and solution oriented thinker with the ability to multi-task.

Intern, Video Production - U.S. Figure Skating (Colorado Springs, CO)
U.S. Figure Skating, the National Governing Body for the sport of figure skating, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is accepting applications for the position of Intern, Video Production. U. S. Figure Skating is a member of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), and the International Skating Union (ISU).
Summary:
U.S. Figure Skating is seeking candidates for a Video Production Internship from August 1-December 31, 2013. The intern will report to the Director, Event Production and be tasked with overall video project support and will assist with the daily video needs of U.S. Figure Skating, which includes; ingesting and tagging video, fulfilling video licensing requests, shooting and editing to support various projects for internal & external needs, creating finished promotional pieces and highlight packages and building graphics to support all production needs.
Job Functions:
Functions include but are not limited to the following:
1. Edit raw video, select music, design digital video effects and create graphics to produce a complete video piece using non-linear editing systems.
2. Ingest and tag video into the centralized video library allowing for the research of such footage to be used in projects.
3. Creation of graphics (static and animated) to support ongoing projects using After Effects/Creative Suites, Motion, etc.
4. Produce, Shoot & Edit video projects for U.S. Figure Skating programs and events.
5. Serve as production assistant on interviews, at events, video shoots, etc.
Qualifications:
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program at the junior or senior level status or enrolled in a Master’s degree program with a focus of studies/experience in Electronic Media, Broadcast or Video/Film Production.
- Experience working on a nonlinear editing system (Final Cut Pro X preferred but Adobe or Avid also acceptable). U.S. Figure Skating uses Final Cut Pro as the primary editing software.
- Adobe After Effects/Creative Suites, Motion, Color
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook.
- Sport experience preferred (i.e., active in competitive/intramural sports).
- Excellent communication and human relations skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced multidisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Work overtime at night & weekends as required
Classification: Internship
Reporting Requirement: Reports directly to the Director, Event Production
Stipend: $1,000 monthly.

Overview:
The primary focus of this internship is to support and assist in the management of programs related to expanding the number of pre-high school rugby players in the USA. The Youth Development Intern will assist with research and development of youth events, work with existing programs, research and development of new initiatives, provide customer service to the community, and other tasks that contribute to the growth of youth and high school level rugby in the United States.
Responsibilities include:
• Support Youth Development Department staff in the development and management of youth events such as tournaments, camps, clinics, and educator workshops.
• Assist in the creation of parent materials
• Assist in the creation of promotional materials for military outreach
• Assist in the creation of college materials for the youth and high school community
• Assist in the creation of other game development materials used by coaches, players and volunteers to start new programs and improve those already in existence

New Media Management and Design Internship - USA Synchro (Indianapolis, IN)
USA Synchro (the national governing body of synchronized swimming) is offering two internships in 2013 (approximately March-September and July-December).
Each staff member is responsible for their department’s section of the website. The successful applicant will work closely with each staff member and assist them in content creation and overall maintenance of each specific section while keeping the overall look and feel consistent throughout the USA Synchro website.
Duties and responsibilities of the New Media Management and Design Intern include but are not limited to:
• Update and maintain specific staff content on the website
• Design and produce new content under staff advisement for website
• Organize existing content and saved files under staff advisement
• Create a consistent look and feel throughout all pages of the website

USA Water Polo internships provide training for the benefit of students interested in Olympic sports and non-profit sports management and administration. Interns may receive college credit; as these are unpaid positions.
Candidate should possess:
* Own transportation & living arrangements
* Willingness to work for class credit only - non-paying internship
* Willingness to help out with event-related tasks; sometimes physical or laborious
* Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PhotoShop, etc.)
* Strong inter-personal communication skills
* Strong organization/multi-tasking skills and detail-oriented mindset
* Ability to be a self-starter--proactive and flexible
Responsibilities to include:
* Support of Events, National Teams, Olympic Development Department , & Administration Groups with various projects.
* Administrative duties (phones, filing, organizing, copying, data entry, etc.)
* Merchandise mailing assistance
* Background in marketing, non-profit work, sports administration & communications a plus!
