The graphic designer will help bring U.S. Soccer’s brand identity to life through visual storytelling. As the graphic designer, you will work with the brand director and social media teams on the design and production (concept through to execution) for creative concepts aligned with U.S. Soccer’s brand strategy. The internship will offer integrated design experience that will expand your portfolio and provide a unique opportunity to help establish U.S. Soccer’s place in the global game.
Develop creative assets for U.S. Soccer and its partners in multiple mediums – social media, print collateral, event design, digital, etc.
Help convey U.S. Soccer’s visual identity in a consistent manner across multiple channels.
Work collaboratively with various departments and individuals to develop creative that demonstrates a strong sense of composition, layout and creativity within U.S. Soccer’s brand parameters.
Experience in an agency, in-house creative department or currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university or an advertising portfolio program (must be at least junior year).
Strong, audience-focused design capabilities in both print and new media. Candidate must submit portfolio along with resume.
Ability to work 20-40 hours per week.
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop.
Ability to understand/follow creative direction and incorporate constructive feedback.
Understanding of how digital platforms are built (photography, video/animation, 3D rendering, and web experience) a plus
Good time management skills and ability to work within strict deadlines
Highly creative and willingness to contribute innovative ideas/thinking

Internet/New Media: Audio/Video Editing and Production
Producer - USA Swimming (Colorado Springs, CO)
This newly-created position will support the department of USA Swimming Productions, the USASwimming.org web site and social media content. This position will be responsible for the creation of production concepts and producing, directing the shooting and editing of projects. Also responsible for the creation of digital, social, print and TV content content that drives audience growth across all USA Swimming platforms.
USA Swimming Productions
Support the Manager of USA Swimming Productions on the implementation of the USA Swimming Productions strategic plan.
Serve as a Producer on original content projects for the organization and sponsors for distribution across all channels.
Use established production budgets and ensure that projects are completed according to schedule.
Coordinate Production shoots and oversee the editing and delivery of final product.
Knowledge, skill, ability, educational/training, experience, working environment, physical activities:
Bachelor's degree in Television Production, Communication, Journalism, Radio/TV or related field, or equivalent work experience.
TV broadcast writing, producing and editing experience of at least 5-10 years (preferably in sports).
Digital content writing knowledge required.
Proven knowledge of broadcast and live streaming operations.
Experience with designing and managing custom graphic template titles and generator packages.
Studio management, including set design and light grid management.
Knowledge of WordPress, SEO, a variety of Social Media platforms and social media marketing techniques, Constant Contact.
A familiarity with broadcast editing programs such as Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro a plus.
Experience or knowledge in the sport of swimming preferred.
Results-oriented with a high level of personal initiative and pride in own work.
Willingness to travel, with extended travel at times for events.

Intern - Marketing - USA Water Polo, Inc. (Huntington Beach, CA)
Positions Available: Non-paid internship; course credit available
Work Schedule: Open work schedule including weekend events, up to 20 hrs/week
USA Water Polo internships provide training for the benefit of students interested in Olympic sports and non-profit sports management and administration. Interns may receive college credit; as these are unpaid positions. The primary focus of this internship is to support and assist in the marketing and sponsorship functions of our organization. This position will assist with sponsorship fulfillment, developing marketing & promotional material, event operations, research/surveying and developing sponsorship proposals, as well as any other tasks that contribute to the efficiencies of the Marketing Departments.
Candidate should possess:
