Finance: Financial/Data Analyst
Finance and Data Officer - Americas - International Cricket Council (Colorado Springs, CO)

Rick Mack, former Managing Director of Human Resources for the USOC, is the recruiting consultant on this position and will be reviewing candidate applications.  

The International Cricket Council (“ICC”) is the global governing body for the sport, which administers all aspects of international cricket. Its Development Programme has specific strategic objectives aimed at the sustainable development and strengthening of the sport globally.

We are currently seeking a Finance and Data Officer for Americas based in our Colorado Springs office. The position works closely with the Finance and Operations Manager and the Americas Development Manager to implement the provisions of the ICC Development Funding Policy and ICC Membership criteria, oversee the annual data census as well as maintain relations and support selected members within the Americas Region across all business and cricket matters.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Responsibilities of the Finance & Data Officer – Americas will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Maintain relations and extend support to selected members across all business and cricket functions
  • Management of the ICC Development Funding Policy, including oversight of Member operational plans, budgets and reporting requirements
  • Coordinate the annual ICC data collection and verification process for census and funding purposes
  • Support of Members in key business areas such as financial management, operational planning, data management and internal information processes 
  • Ensure Associate and Affiliate Membership applications meet all required criteria, and monitoring of ongoing compliance
  • Monitor and evaluate progress against the ICC strategy and KPI framework in relation to Associate and Affiliate Members in Americas
  • Take a lead role in the planning and delivery of Americas regional cricket tournaments
  • Support the Americas and global development teams in other activities and projects as required from time to time

Knowledge, Skills, Attitude and Experience

  • Understanding of finance and basic accounting with a relevant degree in business or sports management
  • Budgeting, financial management and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Experience working with people from different cultural backgrounds and a capacity to build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders through strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • A team player that is also self-motivated and can work independently
  • A passion for sport and experience of administration in a sporting or similar body
  • Computer literate including strong Excel, Database and Word skills

Conditions of employment

  • The position reports to the ICC’s Finance and Operations Manager with a dotted line to the Americas Development Manager, and is based in Colorado Springs. 
  • The selected candidate to furnish two recent work references.
  • Compensation offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
  • Candidates must have existing USA work credentials and no overseas relocation provided

Finance: Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
Accounting Support Rep - United States Equestrian Federation, Inc. (Lexington, KY)

Under direction of the Director of Accounting, this position analyzes customer account balances, processes necessary adjustments and/or refunds, collects outstanding accounts receivable, processes incoming packages, performs quality review functions, posts Paso Fino Horse Association payments, and supports other processes within the Finance department as needed.


EDUCATION:  High school diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE:  Accounting experience or minimum of one year clerical work experience preferred.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  Must be detail oriented and capable of processing transactions accurately and efficiently. Must have a basic proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
