Finance Coordinator - USA Weightlifting (Colorado Springs, CO)

Overview: The Finance Coordinator supports the Finance Manager in overseeing the general financial affairs of the Organization.

Direct Reports: None.

Reports to: Finance Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

·Work as a collaborative team with the Finance Manager.

·Provide front line support for the Finance Manager.

·Manage all accounts receivable processes including the reduction of outstanding debt.

·Day to Day management of deposits and Quickbooks accounts regarding income.

·Allocation of income to correct budgetary areas.

·Assist Finance Manager in production of monthly and yearly budget statements.

·Reconciles Bank Statements, Team Leader financial reports, Credit Card statements etc.

·Prepares Checks, refunds, invoices, account statements, reports and other records at the request of the Finance Manager.

·Reconciles and recommends action for any discrepancies in financial reports.

·In support of the Finance Manager, prepares pertinent information for external accounting and audit firm.

·Provide day to day administrative support of the office including overseeing office supply needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

·Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office 365 required).

·Willingness to participate in positive, collaborative, member and athlete-focused culture.

·Experience using Quickbooks.

·Ability to interpret and use financial data.

·2+ Years’ experience managing finances for an organization, preferably in a 501(3)c organization.

·Willingness to be exceptionally flexible.

·Exceptional attention to detail.

·Unquestioned integrity.

·Strong professionalism, verbal, written listening and public speaking skills.

·Must be very well organized with strong time management skills and highly developed organizational and planning skills.

·Ability to repeatedly lift at least 25kg

·4-year degree from an accredited University in Accounting, or other strongly related subject, or equivalent directly related experience.

·Position will be based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Applicants will be required to work from the Colorado Springs, Colorado location, with relocation assistance not provided. A remote work site will not be considered for this position.
